Six Pheromone Types
Trail, alarm, recruitment, territory, consensus, marker — the formal taxonomy from the ANTS 2026 paper. Each decays at a different rate. Each changes agent behavior differently.
The Inverted-U
Too much convergence and agents pile up uselessly. Too much divergence and nothing gets reinforced. The green zone is where manufactured stigmergy works. You'll feel it.
You Are the Operator
In the real system, the operator manufactures traces through conversation — sessions, commits, specifications layered over time. Here, your mouse is the conversation.
